Named after the Japanese word for “drinking house,” this project from the owners of Sushi Ran will indeed be a Japanese drinking house, with food from Hiroo Nagahara, Charlie Trotter’s former chef de cuisine. 2223 Market St. (near Sanchez St.)

Eleven Madison Park alums David Nayfeld and Angela Pinkerton will open a casual Italian restaurant serving pasta, pizza, and housemade salumi—and a punk-rock/hip-hop/grunge/metal soundtrack. 834–838 Divisadero St. (near McAllister St.)

The Kebabery
ETA: Fall 2016
Camino’s Russell Moore and Allison Hopelain will spin off their popular Kebab Mondays into a restaurant; expect lots of kebabs and falafel. 4201 Market St. (at 42nd St.)
