How Does Three Days of Nonstop Music, Food, and Wine Sound? [SPONSORED]

A sneak preview of the Bottlerock Festival.

On May 29, some 35,000 people will gather under bright blue Napa Valley skies to begin a three-day celebration of the region’s finest wineries, breweries, and cuisine. That’s reason enough to block off the weekend and hitch a ride to wine country. But what if you spiced things up—with, say, performances by Imagine Dragons, No Doubt, Robert Plant, the Avett Brothers, Snoop Dogg, Gipsy Kings, Young the Giant, Brett Dennen, American Authors, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Awolnation, and over 70 more of the world’s top musicians? Well, that, my friend, would be BottleRock!

When you think of Napa Valley, images of long, wine-soaked days with family and friends usually come to mind—and always, somewhere in the background, there’s music. Well, thanks to BottleRock, the music is now on center stage. Within the festival grounds, you’ll find fantastic wineries of all sizes, including Silver Oak, JaM Cellars, ONEHOPE Wines, Hill Family Estate, Jamieson Ranch Vineyards, and JCB. JW Thomas Group Wines is actually launching a new wine at BottleRock with celebrated performer Brett Dennen, who is also rumored to be planning something special for the culinary stage. Some of Napa and Sonoma’s best restaurants will also be cooking at the festival, including Morimoto, The Thomas, La Condesa, Ca’Momi, Vintage Sweet Shop, Il Posto, Eikos, and Tarla. Artisanal companies like Mariposa Ice Cream, Ultra Crepes, and Three Twins Ice Cream, will offer some sweet surprises. And for the craft brew lovers, Lagunitas who will be creating a special BottleRock brew.

Given the talent on stage and the bounty flowing from the wine and food booths, you might not want to leave the festival grounds. But you should: From a bubbly brunch with Dennen at Farmstead to lavish late night parties at City Winery, Napa Valley will be exploding with events, music, and famous winemakers and musicians.

With all that going on, one thing is clear: There is nowhere better than BottleRock to celebrate the magical intersection of wine, beer, food, and music. All kinds of VIP opportunities are available, along with day and festival passes, but the event will sell out quickly—so buy your tickets now, and get ready to rock and roll!
